BioCrossroads
Formed to capitalize on a strong foundation by attracting new business opportunities, intellectual property, and capital to the life sciences industry. Works with corporate government, economic development, and academic leaders to make Central Indiana a national and international life sciences center. It's a collaborative effort of the Indiana Health Industry Forum, Central Indiana Corporate Partnership, Indiana University, Purdue University, the Indy Partnership, and the city of Indianapolis. It has four main priorities:
  • Developing specific collaborations between and within the region's research universities, government, and private industry
  • Building, retaining, and attracting a critically-skilled life sciences workforce
  • Establishing dedicated life science capital investments from public and private sources
  • Promoting greater awareness of central Indiana's life sciences assets and opportunities

Builders Association of Greater Indianapolis (BAGI)
Exists so that members of the residential construction industry can conduct their businesses efficiently and ethically to provide the community with reliable, safe, and affordable residential construction. Also offers a builder's referral service and provides for customer complaint procedures involving member building contractors and construction companies.

A non-profit organization that utilizes the experience of retired and semi-retired executives. Affiliated with the Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce, it provides on-site counseling services to those having business problems. Services include:

Government Marketing Assistance Group
Provides counseling to businesses interested in obtaining federal or state government contracts. Seven regional offices provide on-site and local assistance in identifying their market and understanding the solicitation packages and bidding process. This not-for-profit organization formed to develop, manage, and market downtown Indianapolis. IDI’s goal is to make downtown a clean, safe, convenient, and exciting place to live, work, and be entertained. Technical Assistance Program - Purdue University
Connects Indiana businesses and local governments with the resources of Purdue. Its mission is to strengthen the Indiana economy and improve the quality of life for its citizens. Achievements include:
  • Helping stem the "brain drain" by increasing the placement of Purdue graduates in Indiana businesses
  • Strengthening the competitiveness of Indiana businesses by assisting them in implementing state-of-the-art technologies
The program has completed more than 5000 assistance projects since 1986. It provides up to 5 days of free consulting on a full range of technical issues such as advanced manufacturing, business management, information technology, and product development and engineering.
